Vencedor distrital de concurso promovido pelo Lions fica entre os melhores do mundo
O Concurso de Cartaz sobre a Paz, promovido pelo Lions Internacional, devolveu no último final de semana a obra que ficou entre as 24 melhores na etapa final, para César Pereira Viana, 13 anos, que venceu a etapa distrital, ocorrida no Lions Clube de Gaspar. Participaram do evento alunos da Escola Estadual Dolores L. S. Krauss, Centro Educativo Maria Hendricks e Escola de Educação Básica Frei Godofredo.
Depois de selecionado como vencedor da etapa distrital, Viana teve sua obra selecionada entre as 24 melhores do mundo. Todos os finalistas são condecorados com o prêmio de honra ao mérito.
O cartaz elaborado por Viana foi escolhido devido a sua originalidade e expressão do tema ”A Paz Começa Comigo”. Além da condecoração o aluno recebeu U$ 500 e um certificado de menção honrosa.
A assessora do concurso, Marlene Luiz Pereira declarou que nos dias que antecederam o resultado da etapa internacional, viveu momentos em que "a solidariedade de todos os povos diante dos acontecimentos em nossa região, acalentou nossos corações e nos fez acreditar que vale a pena sonhar e promover cada vez mais a paz entre os homens”. Marlene declarou ainda, que estes jovens têm idéias sólidas sobre o que a paz significa. “Estou orgulhosa por ter sido possível oferecer a eles a oportunidade de expressarem suas visões sobre a paz”, concluiu.
